I stood on a slackline for the first time 2½ years ago. At that time it was a highline with a cheater line for holding onto when walking. I was so fascinated that I bought myself a slackline immediately. Since then I have become addicted to slacklining and can’t get enough of it. In the meantime, highlining has also become my favourite slackline discipline, because it places extreme demands on self-control and mental strength.
